All may not be right with your foot always. There are ailments and related problems that your feet have to face some time or the other. After all they are such important part of our life and we account on them for our all activities.
All feet are not made equal. Some feet are competent enough to do good and hard work without making any complaints, but there are many who are not so strong to bear it all. They suffer from ailments if they are not taken proper care. You may suffer from pain, sore feet or any other problem. It may happen in spite of wearing comfortable shoes or taking only limited activity.
Reasons behind foot ailments can be many. It may be having a sudden blow or fall or wearing ill-fitting shoes may cause foot discomfort. Else, the foot may have the problem naturally or hereditary.
To explain you the whole structure of human foot-it has about 26 bones and several joints, muscles, ligaments, and sinews. Our foot has a complicated structure. It does not always allow the feet bear weight, walk in any awkward or hasty manner. Your feet are unique than your family’s or friend’s. Thus you have to answer its unique demands too.
The general health of the person adversely affects ones feet. The common causes of foot ailments are arthritis, diabetes, poor circulation, stroke and osteoporosis. If you get a check up from a podiatrist, he or she may tell you about the health problem you are facing by having an examination of your feet. Obesity causes grave effects over your feet.
As the feet are different, there are different types of ailments as well. They by and large fall into these basic categories:
Normal or Rectus Foot
The body structure and conjunction of this foot are well designed to meet the demands of your daily life. If you take excessive wear, try to meet incessant demands or wear ill fit shoes, this type of feet can get injured or become painful.
High Arched or Supinated Foot
The high arched foot is poor to absorb shock. People having this type of foot are more prone to problems of the back and whole lower edge. These feet often may have clawed toes and extended plantar calluses.
Flat or Pronated Feet
Flat feet comprises of some of the very common problems diagnosed and treated by the podiatrist. People with such feet are likely to have exhausted feet, arch deformation, arthritis and different other structural disfigurements.
Bunions
Bunion is another coon foot ailment. It refers to a enlargement at the toe that gradually becomes red, sensitive and gives pain. Hallux valgus is another a common deformity associated with bunions in which the great toe becomes angled towards the little toe. The patients of bunions are mostly women. Wearing tight fit shoes or high heels or shoes with narrow toe boxes cause bunions.
Metatarsalgia
Metatarsalgia is having pain at the ball of the foot. It occurs more in the metatarsal heads on the under surface of the foot. It increases when the patient stands on hard surfaces most of the day. If proper treatment is not taken, it can lead to grave situation.

I have Callous(1 inch Diametre) on the undersurface of my feet , which are some times painful , this has been there from last 09 Years , Pls suggest a permanent Cure

I have serious pain in the ball of my foot. It seems like a big callous, but the pain shoots up into and through the ball of my foot. What is it and what can I do.

I have supination in my left foot. I’m wondering which brands of casual shoes I should be looking at. I’m not interested in athletic shoes.
