Blister Rash On Feet

Formation of rash on the feet can be due the presence of many conditions in the feet. Some of the rashes can be due to the presence of allergies, sweating in footwear, fungus or stress. If these rashes are left untreated they can result in the development of this infections. In this article, we will be discussing some of the conditions which can result in the formation of blister rash on feet.

Dyshidrotic Eczema:

This condition results in the formation of recurring rash on the toes and soles that affects the young adults who are prone to allergies or are under stress. In this condition development of itchy blister takes which later dry up to form a fissure rash on the foot. This condition can be treated by the application of a compress of either the saline or the tap water. The application of steroid cream will also be of great help.

Tinea Pedis:

This condition is also known as ‘Athlete’s Foot’. In this condition, the fungus moves from the skin to the toenail or vice versa. In this condition itching, redness, rash or blister formation will be there. This condition can even affect the groin of the person too. This condition can be treated wearing fresh cotton socks each day. Avoid walking bare foot especially in public places.

Pustular Psoriasis:

This is a type of psoriasis the cause of which is still unknown. This conditions affects the palms of hand or feet and sometimes the entire body too. In this condition small blisters with or without pus are formed which can become dry and scaly in the later stages. Once the blisters dries off it can leave a rash behind. This condition can be cured by using a steroid ointment, oral medication will be of great help.
