Heel pain is a condition in which bearing weight on heels causes extreme discomfort. Heel pain is triggered due to excessive stress on the feet, and indicates plantar fasciitis, heel spur etc. Ignoring early signs of heel pain can aggravate the condition. Heel pain is commonly seen in:
- Sportspersons
- People who are overweight
- The middle aged
Causes of Heel Pain:
Heel pain can be caused due to many factors. Improper walking style and wearing improperly fitted shoes can exert stress on the heel bone, causing heel pain. Sports and activities such as jumping, running etc. can hurt the heel and result in heel pain.
