American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle society as suggested these simple nine tips for a good pedicure.

  1. Soak your feet in warm soapy water for 10 minutes.
  2. Use a pumice stone or a scrubber to ex foliate dead skin and remove the dead skin and calluses.
  3. Push cuticles back with a stick and trim them.
  4. Trim toenails straight across.
  5. Refine the nail edge with a nail filer.
  6. Massage feet with baby oil or moisturizing lotion.
  7. Remove the traces of nail polish with a remover and apply a fresh coat.
  8. Wash your feet regularly with soap every day after the pedicure.
  9. Pedicure your feet every 8 weeks.
