How To Give A Relaxing Foot Massage

  1. Take the foot in both your hands.
  2. Twist the foot gently. Start at the toes and proceed toward the heel
  3. Pull in towards you with the heel of one hand. Push way the other. Repeat this process three times.
  4. Take some oil in your cupped hand. Gently rub it between both your hands.
  5. Spread it all over the foot gently.
  6. Knead the soles with your knuckles. Hold the foot with one hand and now rotate your knuckle slightly turning your wrist. Do the same on the entire sole.
  7. Hold the foot with both hands in such a manner that your fingers are at the top of the foot and your thumbs are at the soles. Now make downward strokes on the soles with your thumbs starting from the pads of the toes proceed towards the ball of the foot to the arch and the bottom of the heel.
  8. Now use your thumbs to gently exert the pressure points down the instep. Begin at the knuckle of the big toe. Proceed downwards repeating the same until you reach the heel.
  9. Now place one of your hands underneath the ankle and with other hand stroke the Achilles tendon towards the heel.
  10. Next begin to circle around the ankles using moderate pressure. Do not break the rhythm of circling. Move your fingers around the sides of the foot and continue up the toes focusing between the tendons. Carry on for a minute.
  11. Now come to the toes. Twist, pull and tug each toe.
  12. Alternate your hands gently moving inwards from the outer toes.
  13. For the finishing strokes, gently run your finger tips over the feet and removing pressure before you finally stop.
  14. Repeat the same on the other foot.
